As CFO you are responsible for building out Wehype’s finance department and developing a strong financial infrastructure that effectively supports the company’s rapid growth. In addition, you will also work closely with the CEO on business development and leadership topics across all parts of the company.

What you will do

Drive the company’s financial planning
Work closely with the CEO on business planning and budgeting
Manage the financial and KPI reporting within the company and for the board
Perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments
Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks
Control and evaluate the organization’s fundraising plans and capital structure
Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations
Manage future M&A activities
Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies

Skills/Essentials

5+ years of work experience as CFO, finance officer or relevant role
Experience with best-practice and scalable processes for annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and KPI reporting
Track record of supporting funding rounds (equity/debt) of high-growth startups
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Excellent communication and people skills
An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
A doer! We are a company in rapid growth and you will need to be comfortable in a fast-paced ever changing environment
BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus

Plus if you have

Background within advertising, marketing, influencer marketing or relevant field
A passion for gaming & esports
